Wendy R. Bond<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><b>Investigador principal<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La Dra. Wendy Robinson Bond naci\u00f3 en Michigan y ha residido en el suroeste de Florida durante los \u00faltimos 13 a\u00f1os. Se gradu\u00f3 de la Facultad de Medicina de la Universidad Estatal de Wayne en el a\u00f1o 2000 y realiz\u00f3 sus pr\u00e1cticas en el Hospital Oakwood de Dearborn, Michigan. Posteriormente, curs\u00f3 su residencia en neurolog\u00eda en la Universidad de Tufts entre 2000 y 2004. Continu\u00f3 su formaci\u00f3n con una beca de investigaci\u00f3n en trastornos musculares y nerviosos en el Hospital St. Elizabeth de Brighton, Massachusetts, entre 2004 y 2005.<\/p>\n<p>Est\u00e1 certificada por la Junta Estadounidense de Psiquiatr\u00eda y Neurolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>Durante los \u00faltimos 13 a\u00f1os, la Dra. Bond ha ejercido la neurolog\u00eda general en el \u00e1rea de Fort Myers y Cape Coral. Anteriormente, fue directora m\u00e9dica de la Cl\u00ednica de ELA (Esclerosis Lateral Amiotr\u00f3fica) de Lee Health. Actualmente es miembro de la Academia Americana de Neurolog\u00eda y miembro de la AAN. A nivel local, es miembro de la Sociedad M\u00e9dica del Condado de Lee.<\/p>\n<p>Debido a su experiencia personal con la enfermedad de Alzheimer, recientemente se uni\u00f3 al Dr. Fred Schaerf, fundador del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n Neuropsiqui\u00e1trica del Suroeste de Florida.
