Las comunidades negras, hispanas\/latinas, asi\u00e1ticas, ind\u00edgenas estadounidenses y otras comunidades marginadas suelen enfrentar un mayor riesgo de desarrollar Alzheimer; sin embargo, siguen estando subrepresentadas en la investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica. Para comprender y tratar plenamente esta compleja enfermedad, necesitamos estudios m\u00e1s inclusivos que reflejen la verdadera diversidad de las personas afectadas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Por qu\u00e9 es importante la representaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Alzheimer no se presenta de la misma manera en todos. La gen\u00e9tica, el estilo de vida, la cultura y el acceso a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica influyen en el desarrollo y la progresi\u00f3n de la enfermedad.
